Put this light mount on the mid-fork, dropouts, or rack eyelets at the back of the frame, to attach your light, so it is out of the way of your luggage , and not obstructing the beam. As a secondary function, it also serves as a tool to thread/unthread the crank bolt found on Shimano cranks
